Click here Register here to become a volunteer Spring Together CIC is seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to volunteer with our GetFit Hub Oldham programme. GetFit Hub provides free weekly physical activity sessions designed to help adults become more active, improve confidence and support their health and wellbeing. Sessions welcome adults with different levels of fitness, including people who may be inactive, living with pain or long-term health conditions, or lacking confidence to take part in physical activity. The Volunteer Registered Physiotherapist will help us ensure sessions are delivered in a safe, supportive and inclusive way. This is an opportunity to use your professional skills to make a meaningful difference within the local community while giving just two hours a week. Key information Volunteer: Weekly Availability: Saturday AM, Saturday PM Tasks: The volunteer will: Support the delivery of weekly physical activity sessions. Provide appropriate physiotherapy-informed guidance during sessions. Help participants take part safely and within their individual abilities. Support participants who may have reduced mobility, low fitness or health-related barriers to activity. Encourage participants and help build their confidence in becoming more physically active. Work alongside Spring Together staff and other volunteers. Help create a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment. Identify any concerns relating to safe participation and communicate these appropriately to the session team. Support the overall smooth running of the GetFit Hub session. Training: The volunteer will receive an induction to Spring Together CIC and the GetFit Hub programme, including information about how sessions operate, participant needs, relevant organisational procedures and the volunteer role. Ongoing support will be available from the Spring Together team.
